A little bit about me. . .
I’m not one of those people who was born organized! I always liked to be, and did pretty well until life got more complicated with work, kids, etc. I started learning from the top productivity experts, and applied new ideas to solve my own problems. I soon realized I could help others!
Why I created Effective Day. . .
I began my business in 2002 offering professional organizing services. (To me, organizing is fun but I know it’s not for everyone.) My natural way of visualizing solutions translates into a few simple steps that generate relief for my clients–tailored to their needs and preferences.
As my clients set their sights on performing at ever-higher levels and wanted to be more productive all-around, it became evident to me that they needed the insights I had gleaned from my decades-long study of business leadership and effectiveness. I have spent my life learning from books, workshops, and people. Each has taught me different ways to get in touch with our deeper and better selves — something I bring to my clients every day! I love helping people feel victorious over conditions or situations that seem overwhelming or frustrating. I feel rewarded by the look of satisfaction on my client’s face when he or she is no longer buried by distractions–and realize it is easier than they thought!
In 2003 I chose to enhance my natural coaching skills with formal training. Then, in order to be equipped with the tools to enable my clients to be more effective in their business lives, I became a Certified Executive Coach through Xavier University.
In addition to coaching and organizing services (each of which has tremendous value to empower clients) I also offer workshops which help individuals and entire teams gain insight and clarity on productivity issues. All of my services provide critical components to “freeing you to do what you do best!”
